Edgar Cayce was an American clairvoyant who, in a trance state, answered questions on subjects as varied as healing, reincarnation, dreams, wars, and future events.
Known as the "Sleeping Prophet," Cayce gave over 14,000 readings during his lifetime. His work on astrology emphasized that the stars incline but do not compel — the soul always retains free will.
